President Muhammadu Buhari has called on Nigerians to rekindle hope in the country, urging them to use the Christmas season to show love to one another. 

In his Christmas message today, Buhari said Nigerians should use the season to encourage each other so that the machinations of the wicked ones will find no place to thrive.

President Buhari said his administration remains resolute at ensuring that the standard of living of the average Nigerian is elevated.

On the fight against insecurity, President Buhari assured that with the renewed commitment of security agencies, Nigerians would soon witness an improvement.

According to him, his administration has continued to support the security personnel in the discharge of their duties.

He also used the celebration to call on all Nigerians to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

In another news, Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has urged Nigerians to be intentional in thinking good thoughts and sowing better seeds of harmony and unity in diversity.

Atiku Abubakar, in his Christmas message issued by his Media Office today in Abuja, said the actions would make Nigeria greater today and in the future.

He said that as the world celebrates Christmas, which showcases the birth of Jesus Christ, Nigerians should embrace peace and unity at this period.

The former vice president urged Nigerians to love one another for the sake of progress and growth in the country.

The former vice president reminded Nigerians that the revival of the country’s glory was everyone’s responsibility.
