The Anambra State APC flag bearer, Andy Uba, was received on Tuesday by President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa, Abuja.
The president said to Uba “I am happy to formally welcome you. I certainly wish you the best of luck. I’m anxious for your success, and will closely follow,”
Andy Uba was in company of the Chairman, Caretaker and Convention Planning Committee of the party and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni whi remarked “Anambra is ripe for us, and we will work together for victory.”
Also, in the entourage is the Chairman of the Campaign Council, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo state promissing the president that the message of the party would be taken to the people of Anambra, “which will translate to victory for us in November.”
The Anambra state election is slated by INEC to be conducted on November 6.
