An Oyo State High Court has granted an ex-parte motion cautioning Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), and Directorate of Security Service from arresting Chief Sunday Adeyemo best known as Sunday Igboho.
The court led by Justice Ladiean Akintola also restrain the AGF and DSS from blocking Igboho’s bank account. The motion was filed and moved by Barr. Yomi Aliu (SAN) at the court on Wednesday.
Initially, the court received motion to pay N500 billion damages for invasion of house of Igboho in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital on July 1. The councel expressed confidence that AGF will follow the order.
