‘I will Leave Kaduna Better Than I Met It’ – Uba Sani vows

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has reiterated his commitment to leaving the state better than he met it.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction and upgrading of Zaria township roads, Sani said his administration is executing projects in critical sectors such as education, health, and agriculture.

He disclosed that the Rural Transformation Programme of his administration includes the construction of over 78 road projects across the state, adding that the projects are progressing well with contractors being adequately funded to meet project deadlines.

The governor explained that the construction and upgrading of Zaria township roads will serve a significant population of Zaria city, create job opportunities, and connect local communities to provide social and economic benefits.

He assured the people of Zaria that his administration will continue to execute projects that will improve their lives and provide opportunities for economic growth and development.

In his remarks, the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, commended Governor Sani for executing developmental projects across the state, saying that the emirate is proud of the governor’s achievements.

Bamalli urged the governor to continue with the good work, saying that the people of Kaduna State are solidly behind him.

The commissioner for works and infrastructure, Alhaji Abubakar Abdullahi, said the construction and upgrading of Zaria township roads will be completed within 12 months, adding that the project will cost over N3 billion.

He explained that the project includes the construction of 25 kilometers of roads, 20 kilometers of drains, and 15 kilometers of sidewalks, adding that the project will provide employment opportunities for over 500 youths.
