I will continue to support girl-child education in katsina – Fatima Radda

The wife of katsina state APC guber candidate and the Founder PAC(Pledging Aid Charity) foundation, Hajiya Fatima Dikko Radda has yesterday while observing the international day of the girl child called on all stakeholders in katsina to put in more effort to ensure that every girl child in katsina is educated.

In a tweet posted on her Twitter page, Hajiya Fatima reiterated the need to support the girl child get educated while also acknowledging an award given to her  by a katsina based organization READRIGHTER focused on educating the girl child, in recognition of her support towards educating the girl child. The award was presented to Hajiya Zainab Ismaila, an aide of Mrs Dikko Radda. 

Hajiya Fatima known for her motherly concern and philanthropic works through her PAC foundation, has become a household name with historic impact made on the less privileged in katsina. Her foundation which has been in existence for a few years now has focused mostly on rendering help to the less privileged in various communities in katsina, support towards girl-child education and most importantly, public health campaigns, awareness and intervention. 

The 11th October of every year globally has always been the international day of the girl-child, re-echoing the need once again for the need to prioritize the girl child education.

On this #InternationalDayOfTheGirlChild, I would like to share some pictures from the girl child education summit held on the 02/10/2022 by @READRIGHTER_NG in Katsina.

 “I received an award through my representative in recognition of my tremendous contribution to the development of the girl child education in Katsina state. 

I’ve made it my life’s priority to in my little ways advocate for the education of the girl child and I would like to once again renew my pledge to always support the education of the girl child in any and every way I can. 

I would like to also show my deep appreciation to the organizer of this event Mal. @Aliyu_Kankara for the work he put in with his team while also urging all relevant stakeholders to take up the challenge so we can all support the girl child education together”. 

Present at the occasion were H.E wife of the governor of katsina state Haj. Hadiza Bello Masari, Hon. Commissioner Prof. Badamasi Lawal, Hon. Mariya Abdullahi MON, Justice Safiya Badamasi SAN among others.
