The resignation of Daurawa may not be unconnected to the clash of purpose between him and the state Governor who recently in a meeting with Islamic clerics in the state registered his displeasure over the arrest and raid activities conducted by Hisba.

The Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf described the incident as worrisome, that Hisba, who are to promote Islamic ideal in their action turned out to be contrary in their raid activities.
