Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar and chairman APC campaign committee for Bayelsa Governorship election has commended president Muhammad Buhari for his commitment to ensuring a peaceful and transparent election in the country.
He made the remarks shortly after the announcement of the last Saturday’s Bayelsa Governorship election result in Yenegoa.
Governor Badaru Abubakar assured people of Bayelsa state that the new Governor elect would do his best to move the state forward, describing him as man of the people.
He added that the federal government would support the newly elected Governor to transform the state.
He commended people of Bayelsa state for electing APC candidate.
