The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has confirmed the news on the passage of the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, 1.
The governor received the delegation who broke the News from the Palace which comprised former President-General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) and Aare Mayegun of Ibadanland, Bayo Oyero; younger brother of the deceased Olubadan, Osuolale Owolabi Olakulehin and son of the deceased, Aremo Olasumbo Owolabi.
The Governor who expressed sadness over the demise of the Royal Father, said the state would stand by the family at this period and will also give the late Olubadan a befitting burial.
Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, Ige Olakulehin-1 who was the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland died at 90 few days to his one year anniversary on throne.
