Jigawa State Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has signed the new Development policy document which was adopted after a strategic dialogue between the Jigawa State Government and the officials of the Foreign Commonwealth and Development office at government house in Dutse.
Speaking before the signing of the document, the Governor said the state has been very successful in meeting the target of the previous policy document.
Badaru Abubakar explained that with the new policy, the state would partner with the development partners for its full implementation and will not relent until the set objectives are achieved, which is aimed at delivering good governance to the people of Jigawa state.
Responding, the Director of Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom Government, Dr. Chris Pycroft, said they have agreed with the Jigawa State Government on a mutual accountability framework that will deepen the relationship of both governments.
