Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has took oath of office for the second term as the executive Governor of Kano state.
The Governor also followed his successful swearing-in by re-appointing Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji and State Accountant General, Shehu Mu’azu to work with him in his second term in office.
He spoke glowingly of the duo for satisfactorily working with him in his first tenure in office which officially ends today Wednesday 29th May, 2019 for a fresh tenure of four more years..
This announcement was made by the Governor immediately after his official inauguration for the second term in office.
He urged his cabinet members to work hard and make the new administration be more fruitful as he promises for the second term in office.
SKY DAILY gathered that the reappointment of the duo came a day after all political appointments were terminated by the administration.
“It could be recalled that, all political appointments were terminated with the exception of tenure-based appointments, which government said that would be determine by the laws governing the operations of affected agencies and departments.” Said a statement released from the office of the Chief Pres Secretary to the Governor of Kano State, Mallam Abba Anwar.
