Flood:, Zulum appeals to Tinubu for more help, as Ganduje visits Borno

The governor of Borno State, Babagana Umara Zulum has appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for more aides to contain the devastating floods which has left many citizens of the state stranded.

Zulum made the appeal when the National Chairman of the All progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje visited the state to condole with the state government and the victims.

Ganduje led the National Working Committee of the party to the state government house in Maiduguri.

Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje described the incident as a natural disaster.

He commended the governor for his concern and effort to mitigate the floods.

Ganduje also commended the Federal Government for its support through the Vice President Kashim Shettima following a directive by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
