FG Sent Relief Materials to Inhabitants of Auno in Borno State

The Federal Government sent relief materials to inhabitants of Auno, a neighboring community to Maiduguri in Borno State, which was attacked recently by Boko Haram insurgents.

President Muhammadu Buhari was on a sympathy visit to Maiduguri, last week, over the gruesome murder of over 30 persons by insurgents.

The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development and the  North-East Development Commission delivered food and non-food items to the people of Auno village.

The Managing Director of the commission, Mohammed Alkali, said the relief items included 5000 blanket, 1000 bags of beans, 1000 mattresses, 200 cartons of vegetable oil, 1000 bags of rice, 50 cartons of tomato paste, 50 cartons of Maggi cubes and 1000 mats.
