FG allocates 10 percent of 774,000 jobs to politicians

The federal government has allocated ten per cent of the seven hundred and seventy four thousand job slots in the special public works programme to politicians, the spokesperson for the Kano State selection committee, Abubakar Muhammad Janaral, has disclosed in an interview with newsmen.

He said the state has distributed the forms for four thousand four hundred of the state’s forty four thousand job slots to politicians, in compliance with the directive.

Janaral said the allocation was to address politicians’ interference in the selection processes.

He added that Kano state selection committee has constituted local government committees which consist of traditional rulers, clerics and community-based organizations to monitor the selection process.
