Femi Fani-Kayode Acquitted of Medical Forgery Charges by Ikeja Court

The Special Offences Court located in Ikeja, Lagos, has found former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode not guilty and has released him from the charges of medical forgery brought against him by the EFCC.

Justice Olubumni Abike-Fadipe, in her ruling on the no-case submission presented by the former minister’s counsel, determined that the prosecution did not adequately establish a prima facie case against him, leading to his release.

The court supported the no case submission presented by his attorney, Norrison Quakers (SAN), and determined that Fani-Kayode did not have a case to respond to, as the EFCC failed to establish any connection between him and the alleged offence.
