Federation account/Allocation Committee (FAAC) has postponed its May 18th and 19th meeting “due to certain circumstances”, director home finance of the Ministry of Finance, Stephen Okon wrote in a letter.
“I am directed to inform you that the Federatiom Account/Allocatiom Committee (FAAC) meetings ealier scheduled to hold virtually on the 18th and 19th May 2022 have been postpomed due to certain circumstances,”
“In view of the foregoing, I am to further inform you that the new date for the meetinga will be forwarded to you in due course.”
Accountant General of the Federation, AGF Ahmed Idris has been suspended by the Finance Ministry on Tuesday in reaction to his arrest by the EFCC.
The postponement of the meeting may not be unconnected the AGF’s suspension.
