Former Governor of Bayelsa and current senator representing Bayelsa west, Seriake Dickson, was reportedly in EFCC’s custody to answer questions on public fund spending during his tenure as Bayelsa State governor 2012 – 2020.
The commission according to Wilson Uwujaren, spokesman of the EFCC, they invited the former governor to clear some doubts.
Sources familiar with the development said the governor was invited on allegations bordering asset declaration, abuse of office, misappropriation of public funds and misapplication of interventions.
Senator Dickson arrived the Jabi headquaters of the EFCC at about 11:00am and is still being interrogated.
