
The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has warned passport applicants against patronising third party agents to make payments.
The Service stated that passport applicants can make payments themselves online via the official website.
The warning was contained in a pictorial on the official X handle on Monday, March 24.
The pictorial states: “Applicants can make payments themselves online via: passport.immigration.gov.ng. Do NOT patronize third-party agents!
“Stay vigilant! If you see something. say something. Report via NIS official channels below.
“The Service remains committed to ensuring transparency and maintains its zero tolerance to all forms of corruption.”
