The Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf described the incident as worrisome, that Hisba, who are to promote Islamic ideal in their action turned out to be contrary in their raid activities.

But after a reconciliation meeting facicilitated yesterday night by Inuwar Hadin Kan Malamai, a coalation of Ulema in the state between Daura and Governor Abba the dispute has been resolved and Daura resumed duty.

Alhaji Sanusi Bature Dawakin-tofa addrrssing DCL Hausa said “it known that Daurawa only resigned in a video statement. He has not tendered formal resignation letter to the Government which is the formal way of disengagement from the public service.

“Therefore, by the morning of Tuesday 5th March, 2024 Daurawa will continue from where he stopped as the Commander-General of Kano State Hisbah Board”
