The United States mission in Nigeria has in commemoration of the one year anniversary of the Endsars protests in Nigeria recated to the memorial.
The US mission in a facebook message charged protesters to adopt political method in actualizating their police reform activism.
“We encourage those who demonstrated for change to engage politically to achieve it,” the statement said.
The mission also appreciate judicial panels intituted to investigate alleged killings during the protest by security forces and enjoined full implementation of recommendation given by the panels.
“We appreciate the work done by the various judicial panels and look forward to the implementation of recommendations and compensation to victims of police brutality. We support ongoing police reform efforts.”
