President Muhammadu Buhari has today arrived in Paris, the capital of French, ahead of the three-day Paris Peace Forum which will hold from 11 to 13 November.
This was announced in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President, Femi Adesina.
According to the statement, Buhari will be a guest to the French President, Emmanuel Macron before the peace forum.
Meanwhile, the Senate has received a formal request from President Muhammadu Buhari to confirm Professor Ayo C. Omotayo as Director-General of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies.
According to a statement by Ezrel Tabiowo, a spokesperson to the Senate President Ahmad Lawan, the request was contained in a letter read today during plenary by Lawan, moments after the chamber resumed plenary from its eighteen working days recess.
