President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday has announced the suspension of the Ruga Settlement Projects pending further notice.
The decision followed the public outcry over the idea which the Federal government said it will invest in as a way to curb the incessant farmer/herder crises across the country.
The president, after consultations with stakeholders, resolved to put away the idea for a thorough review and well acceptable approach to the menace constituted to national security by the constant clashes between herdsmen and farmers. Thisday Newspaper has gathered.
