Bindow meets central zone delegates, seeks support

As preparations for the All progressive Congress state primary elections continues, Incumbent Adamawa state governor Muhammad Bindow Jibrilla meets with delegates of the party from the central zone of the state to mobilize support for the governor ahead of the forth coming governorship primary elections in the state.
Adamawa Central zone comprise of Fufore, Yola South, Yola North, Girei, Song , Gombi and Hong local government areas.
Gov Bindow who came to power in 2015 is constitutionally eligible to contest for a second term, intention of which he has already declared.

The open theatre of Mahmud Ribadu square, venue of the event, was full to capacity with delegates, executive committe members and supporters from the central zone local government areas.

Speaking at the event, Gov Bindow seek the support of the excos and delegates ahead of state primary elections. Moreover, he promised the excos automatic S.A if re-elected.
Also speaking at the event, the chairman central zone Buhari/Bindow again who is also the commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, Alhaji Muhammad Barkindo said Gov Bindow is worthy of their support. Highlighting the achievements of the administration in the last three years.
Gov Bindow will face pioneer EFCC chairman Mallam Nuhu Ribadu and Halilu Ahmed, a brother to the first lady Aisha Buhari in next week primary elections.
