Be patient with our policies, Tinubu begs Nigerians

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged Nigerians to be patient and endure the biting effects of his government’s policies, saying the aim of his government would soon be achieved.

He stated this at the Ansaruddeen Tinjaniya Sect national Maulud celebration held in Dutse, Jigawa state capital, weekend.

Tinubu who was represented by the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, said the present  administration has been supporting religious organisations since its inception.

President Tinubu also addressed rumour surrounding Nigeria’s involvement with foreign troops, dismissing them as baseless.

He further highlighted that the present administration is making efforts to promote education, including the provision of computers for almajiri students.

The president added that there is nothing wrong with the Muslim-Muslim ticket, saying it promotes unity and understanding among Nigerians.

Also the deputy governor of Jigawa state, Usman Aminu Gumel, highlighted the state government’s efforts to improve education, insecurity and development. 

He said the state government has set aside N5 billion on building mega schools in the three senatorial zones, each with a capacity for 4,000 students.
