An attack by group of bandits in Tsafe local governmet left mny killed including the son of Mamman Tsafe, a retired Deputy Inspector General of Police.
A resident identified as Lawal, said that the bandits stormed the community around 9:30 pm on Sunday.
He said they could not ascertain the actual number of the victims at the time of writing this report because the bandits are still operating in the town.
Banditry is serious security challenge in northern Nigeria, causing the death and abduction of thousands of rural and urban inhabitants, including travelers.
