On Tuesday, Daniel Chollom, from Plateau state, a representative from the Labour Party, declared his switch to the APC.
Chollom attributed this decision to ongoing leadership issues within the Labour Party and expressed his intention to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his efforts towards national development.
In a letter presented during the plenary session by Speaker of the House of Representatives Abbas Tajudeen, Chollom articulated that the internal disputes within the party had obstructed his ability to affiliate with any particular faction, which in turn impeded his capacity to provide effective representation.
