Alwan Hassan released by captors after paying 100m ransom

The abducted managing director of the Bank of Agriculture Alwan Hassan, Wednesday, has been released by his abductors.

Alwan was abducted ten days ago after a raid by terrorists, of a Kaduna-bound train from Abuja.

In a short vedio clip taken with the phone of the abductee Alwan, the terrorists said he was realeased due to his “old age and the ramadan”.

Report by DailyNigerian however, noted that a sum of 100m was paid to secure the release of the MD by his family.

The terrorists urge governmet for swift action to secure release of the other abductees before they taste their wrath.
