Air Arabia has received its first long-range version of the A321neo at Hamburg Finkenwerder factory of Airbus. The Airbus A321LR is the first of six aircraft of the same type leased from American lessor Air Lease Corporation (ALC).
With this delivery, Air Arabia became the first Middle Eastern airline to operate the Airbus A321LR.
The aircraft, which is registered A6-ATA will allow Air Arabia to launch new flights on longer routes. Air Arabia’s A321LR is powered by CFM LEAP-1A engines and configured to accommodate 215 passengers in a single-class layout, nine more than the standard configuration.
The A321LR of the Gulf-carrier also features the airline’s new cabin interior that was launched as part of the company’s new brand identity in October 2018.
The new cabin interior incorporates new seats providing extra comfort for passengers while maintaining Air Arabia’s generous seat pitch offered in its all aircraft.

The UAE low-cost began its operations in 2003 as the first budget carrier in the Middle East. The airline’s fleet comprises more than 50 Airbus A320 family jets, including the newly delivered Airbus A321LR.
Air Arabia serves on more than 155 routes to destinations across the Middle East, North Africa, Asia, and Europe.
