DCP Abba Kyari, suspended Head of IGP-Intelligence Response Team has on Wednesday appeared before an instituted special Investigation panel led by Deputy Inspector-General of Police Joseph Egbunike.
The panel started sitting on Monday to investigate an FBI bribe indictment against the ‘super cop’ Abba Kyari.
Mr. Kyari presented his defense before the panel on Tuesday one day after the first sitting of the panel.
DCP Kyari is accused in being party to an internet fraud by detaining one Kelly Chibuzor to make the deal perfect and received his share an accusation he has since denied.
