Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Malle was born on the 23rd of September 1969 in the city of Jalingo, Taraba State. His late father Waziri Ibrahim Malle was the former Waziri of Muri, the second highest traditional titleholder of Muri Emirate.
He attended Muhammadu Nya primary school Jalingo before proceeding to Government Day Secondary School Marmara in Wukari and Bali respectively.
After his secondary school education, he obtained OND in Health and Husbandry from the College of Agriculture Jalingo. He did his National Youth Service Corps in 1997 after which he contested and won seat in Taraba state House of Assembly as member representing Jalingo 1. That is where this remarkable political journey begins.
Dr. Malle has held various offices in privileged public and private capacities. From a lecturer at College to state House Assembly member. From local government caretaker chairman to member of the state executive council, he has built a reputation that still stands untarnished and unblemished. Prior to his current position as the Chief of Staff to Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, he was the two term member in the 7th and 8th National Assembly representing the good people of Jalingo-Yorro-Zing federal constituency.
Dr. Malle is greatly loved and admired by his people. He treat everyone with humility and respect. He has a routine of always listening to his people and is always ready to give a helping hand to people from within and beyond his constituency.
No doubt, Dr. Malle’s people-oriented leadership styles, his exemplary sense of humility, and his foresightedness will never be forgotten by the good people of Jalingo-Yorro-Zing federal constituency and beyond. Because of the open-mindedness and the sincerity in which he interacted with everyone around him, he remains a living example of how a leader should be.
Dr. Malle is kindness personified. His acts of philanthropy transcends religious, ethnic, and political divides. All moments spent with him became an unforgettable part of people’s memories. He has a habit of making a complete stranger feel home away from home. This type of leadership trait remains a rarity in modern politicking.
Indeed, the choice of Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Malle for Jalingo, Yorro, and Zing Federal Constituency stands out as one of the most important and rewarding choices before the people of Jalingo, Yorro, and Zing federal constituency because of how he freely made himself closer to them than they were to him. Undoubtedly, Magayakin Mumuye as he is fondly called, truly is a man of the people!
It’s worthy to note that Dr. Malle’s type of hospitality is something found only in few lucky leaders. For close to three decades he has indelibly built a constituency where the youth can call their own. Being a devoted Muslim he has laid foundation for a strong and mutually inclusive relationship with the adherents of other faiths. Being a Fulani man he sees beautiful colors in cultural diversity where a colorful nation is buildable… And being a renowned politician, he doesn’t fancy the politics of bitterness.
Dr. Malle is undoubtedly a man of wisdom, capacity and foresight. His speeches and actions points evidence to his intellectual disposition. When he first ventured into partisan politics a little over twenty-three years ago, he was motivated by the simple but powerful reminder that the key to success in politics is living in peace with people irrespective of their religion, ethnic, or political affiliations.
As 2023 general elections draws closer, it’s my humble belief that the good people of Jalingo, Yorro, and Zing federal constituency will revive, renew, and reaffirm their commitment to sustainable development by supporting the man with whom they have a shared destination and future. One sure way to do that is to rally behind Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Malle, the man who knows the job!
