The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has congratulated Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on the successful completion of Ramadan fast and sallah festive period.
The two dignitaries met in Abuja last night, Friday where the Emir also publicly congratulated governor Ganduje for the victory in his second term in office. Wishing the governor to have successful tenure in office from 2019 to 2023.
“Both leaders spoke jointly to all Muslims and urged them to continue with the good teachings and spirit of the Fasting period of the Month of Ramadhan.” Said a statement released Saturday by Abba Anwar, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kano State.
Anwar further added that dialogue between the state government and Kano Emirate will continue for lasting peace and institutional harmony in Kano state.
