Tuesday, Ramadan 9, 1440 AH (May 14, 2019)
In the Name of Allah, The Beneficent, the Merciful
All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. Peace and blessing be upon whom Allah sent as a mercy to the Worlds; Prophet Muhammad, upon his Family, his Companions and his Brothers till the Day of Resurrection.
Dear brothers and sisters! Know that, the evildoers, wrongdoers, mischief makers and their supporters, and those who kept quite while the evils, wrongdoings, and mischiefs are taking place in the society will all regret their actions.
Allah the Most High says:
“Those among the Children of Israel who disbelieved were cursed by the tongue of Dawud (David) and Isa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). That was because they disobeyed (Allah and the Messengers) and were ever transgressing beyond bounds. They used not to forbid one another from the Munkar (wrong, evil-doing, sins, polytheism, disbelief, etc.) which they committed. Vile indeed was what they used to do.” [Qur’an, 5:78-79]
Once, a group of people were traveling on rocks at night. A voice came from the sky that whosoever picks up the rocks will regret and whosoever doesn’t pick up the rocks will regret. Now, the people were confused. How can this be? Whether you pick up the rocks or not, you will regret!
Anyway, some people picked up the rocks and some didn’t. In the morning when they reached their homes, they saw that the rocks turned into diamonds. Now, those people who didn’t pick up the rocks started regretting saying, “If only we had picked up some rocks.” Those people who did pick some rocks also started regretting saying, “Why didn’t we pick up more rocks?” Both sides ended up regretting.
Dear Muslims, this same incident will take place with us on the Day of Judgment. Those people who spent their time in the evils and useless things will start regretting by looking at those who achieved a great position in Paradise by spending their time in the way of Allah the Most. Now, those who did achieve a position in Paradise will start regretting by looking at those who did more than them and are higher in status. “Alas! If we had only done more to please Allah the Almighty.”
Allah the Majestic said:
“And could you but see when the guilty shall hang down their heads before their Lord: Our Lord! We have seen and we have heard, therefore send us back, we will do good; surely (now) we are certain.” [Qur’an, 32:12]
Respected brothers and sisters! Surprisingly, in this very great month of Ramadan, when true believers were occupied with remembrance of their creator, busy reading the glorious Qur’an, seeking nothing but Allah’s forgiveness and mercy, praising their Lord in all ramifications, it was a sad news with the resemblance of a bombshell, drops in the heart of the believers, of course yes, only the enemy of Allah and the hypocrite will be happy to hear, it really came to us that there were people who gang up in one of the most populous Muslims state in Nigeria, Kano, plotting to destroy the heritage and labour of our forefathers, whom Nigerians describes as the labour of the heroes past. They want to destroy what our forefathers fought to established and maintained.
Dear brothers and sisters! Within two days the sycophant lawmakers made it a law, they destroyed what our forefathers fought to established under the command of our leader whom we desire to meet in Aljannah, the day no Governor will use thugs to win any inconclusive elections, talk less of having the gut of destroying and promoting hatred among brothers.
Oh Allah forgive us for always accusing the Jews and some enemies from far for our problems, our calamities, our tribulations and our predicaments, forgetting that our greatest problems are those who drank from the put of the Jews, People who call themselves Muslims but were bend in destroying the Muslims Ummah and their Islamic heritage because of their personal egoism and political interest.
Ya Allah, you have seen what your beloved servant Shehu Usman Ibn Fodio, his brothers and his students fought to established is been destroyed by someone who has forced himself into power, Ya Allah we do not have strength to fight him, but you have. Ya Allah may he be alive to see the Ummah coming under one umbrella, under one Amir and one Qiblah.
Ya Allah raised the flag of LA ILAHA ILLALLAH above all tyranny. Ameen.
The perfect knowledge belongs to Allah the Almighty. Our last prayer is all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. Peace and blessing be upon our Prophet, his Family, his Companions and his Brothers till the Day of Resurrection.
We ask Allah the Most High to strengthen us in this Ramadan, we ask Him to accept our fasts, and reward us with His forgiveness and the highest place in Paradise. Ameen.
