In a bid to avert a looming industrial action in the health sector, the Minister of Labour and Employment, Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, has called on the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives to suspend their planned strike and return to the negotiation table.

The Minister, who met with representatives of the association on Tuesday, emphasized that industrial action is not the best approach to resolving disputes, especially within the healthcare sector.
He assured the nurses and midwives that the government is actively working to address their concerns and urged continued engagement through peaceful dialogue.
