The South-North Progressives Forum has added it’s voice in support of the clamour for the office of the President of Nigeria to remain in the Southern Region of the Country.
President of the Forum Festus Onyekwulisi at a Press Conference in Abuja says the forum is perching its tenth with this idea to ensure every region has a fair opportunity to lead the Nation.
The forum is also proposing a constitutional framework for power rotation between the South and North that will allow regional blocs to micro zone the presidency and ensure every Nigerian has a voice in national development.
The forum made up of members of different political parties, representative of trade unions, and other affiliate groups says it is ready to work with all relevant stakeholders to promote equity, justice and inclusivity in the country’s leadership arrangement.
