The Managing Director of the Refuse Management and Sanitation Board (REMASAB), Haruna Danzago, a former member of the 2019 APC Presidential Campaign Committee, and Alhaji Ahmadu Haruna Zago, has passed away.
Danzago, who also served as the chairman of ASPIRA Nigeria, died on Thursday at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) after a brief illness.
He is survived by his wives and children.
Danzago played a notable role in politics in Kano State and contributed significantly to waste management and environmental sanitation.
His burial will take place at his residence in Kurna Tudun Bojuwa, Kano.
