The Kano state-based team Barau Football Club, has provided a new football jersey to the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Kano State club.
In a statement released by Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, Barau FC Media Officer, revealed that, the jersey was donated and presented to the NDLEA on Thursday in Kano by the Chairman of Barau FC, Alhaji Ibrahim Shitu Chanji.
Ibrahim Chanji, while presenting the jersey to the NDLEA Kano commandant Abubakar Idris Ahmad, reiterates that the team will continue to contributes sport activities, and promote good relations between the clubs and agency.
Chanji, described the jersey as unique, smart, and beautiful, he emphasized that, the Kano based-team ready to distribute and support the Kano clubs for the football materials.
While receiving the jersey, the Kano state NDLEA commandant, Abubakar Idris Ahmad, expressed his happiness for the gesture.
A.I Ahmad, said that the gesture was aimed at preparing the team for the holding training and matches in Kano state and the entire part of the country.
He thanked the Barau football club chairman for this gesture, assured that the agency will support activities of the club at any time.
In another development, Barau FC chairman Ibrahim Shitu Chanji, received his letter award as NDLEA’s Kano Peace Ambassador of War Against Drug Abuse.
Last week, NDLEA Kano Commandant, Abubakar Idris Ahmad, honoured Barau FC Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Shitu Chanji as Peace Ambassador of War Against Drug Abuse.
Ibrahim Shitu Chanji, Chairman of Barau FC, accompanied by team Director Adminstration, Engr Bala Bawa, Marketing Manager Abbakar Saddiqu.
Others Jabir Hassan, Technical Consultant of the team, Umar Lawan Yusuf Barau FC Sectratery and Ismail Madu Welfare officer and others.
