The Executive Governor of Kano state, His Excellency Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has approved the appointment of Ali Haruna Abubakar Makoda as his Chief of Staff.
Governor Ganduje said Makoda’s appointment was not only in acknowledgement of his immense contribution to the development of Kano and the citizens in general, but also for his immeasurable commitment towards the feats achieved in his (Ganduje) first tenure in office, from 2015 to 2019.
“Ali Haruna Abubakar Makoda is always an asset to our dear state. Hence the need for carrying him along in my second tenure in office.” Ganduje said via a statement on Thursday by his media aide, Mallam Abba Anwar.
Ganjude urged the new COS to remain focused and committed, as he is known for, while assuring him that the choice is apt and deserving.
The 53year old newly appointed Chief of Staff was the immediate past Commissioner for Environment in Ganduje’s first term in office.
