Returning from Bauchi State after attending an Islamic new year prayer session, 22 Muslim faithfuls were feared dead sequel to brutal attack in an ambush laid by mobs in Jos, Plateau State.
The incident happened along Jos-Zaria road of the state.
Daily Nigerian newspaper reported that the attack took place about 10am Saturday.
The killed, were said to be disciples of Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi a reknown Islamic scholar in Nigeria and the West Africa sub-region.
