At least 21 athletes and officials from Kano, who recently participated in the National Sports Festival in Ogun State, have tragically lost their lives in a road accident.
The accident took place on the Daka Tsalle bridge in the Garun Malam Local Government area around 8 am on Saturday. The bus encountered a pothole, which caused it to overturn.
