
Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tuggar felicitates with the Muslim Ummah and all Nigerians on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, highlighting the festival’s themes of reflection, sacrifice, and renewed faith.
In his Eid al-Adha message, the Foreign Affairs Minister points out that the period serves as a reminder to embody the virtues of obedience, resilience, and selflessness, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Muhammad. Tuggar urges the faithful to pray for peace and stability in both local and global contexts, especially in troubled regions like Gaza, Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
He expresses his solidarity with Nigeria’s internally displaced persons (IDPs) and offered condolences to those affected by the floods in Mokwa, Niger State. He called for support for humanitarian efforts.
Additionally, Tuggar recognizes the bravery of Nigeria’s frontline officers dedicated to national peace and security. He reaffirmed his commitment to advancing Nigeria’s interests through proactive diplomacy, encouraging unity and shared humanity during this sacred festival.
