
Comptroller Joseph Adelaja has taken over as the new Area Comptroller of the Oyo/Osun Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, replacing Dr. Ben Oramalugo ¹. The formal handover ceremony took place on Friday at the command’s operational headquarters in Ibadan.
During the ceremony, Oramalugo highlighted his achievements in revenue generation, anti-smuggling operations, and enforcement of customs regulations, which contributed to the socio-economic growth of the region and the country ¹. He thanked the officers and men of the command for their support and cooperation throughout his tenure.
Adelaja expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to building on the legacy left by his predecessor ¹.
