President Buhari has lamented how what he termed “global community” monopolized access to Covid-19 vaccines “at the expense of other countries,”.

While the president noted that “some five million doses have been administered to Nigerians” by National Primary Health Care Development Agency, he however expressed dissatisfaction with the global trend in access to vaccine.

“I will like to remind the Global community that the current state of access to COVID-19 vaccine is unacceptable. We cannot afford a situation where a handful of countries keep the global vaccine supply to themselves at the expense of other nations,” he lamented.

“We must act now to accelerate equitable distribution of Covid-19 vaccine,” he added.
