A group, Igbo Youth Movement, has passed vote of confidence on the Nigerian Police following resolution of land dispute between Mrs. Uju Ohanenye and a paint factory.

In a press statement on Monday, National Coordinator of the group, Chidiebere Odimegwu, said, “Igbo Youth Movement a group of Igbo Youths that cut across 36 States of the Federation and FCT has monitored with strict admiration the professional role Nigerian Police is playing in resolving land dispute between one Mrs. Uju Ohanenye and a paint factory employing substantial number of youths at cattle lairage site in Emene Enugu State.

“Igbo youths are of the view that no amount of threat misinformation half truth and total lies will stop Justice restoration which Nigeria police has championed hence we pass vote of confidence to Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu and the Enugu State Police Command.

“Despite the pending appeal Court cases on the said matter CA/E/367M/2018 which CA/E/87/M/2018 last heard 15/10/2020, the said property came under attack with many injured by hoodlums purportedly mobilized by land grabber Madam Mrs. Uju Ohanenye whose stock in trade is to misinform the police hierarchy and judiciary and obtain document to back her criminal intention of obtaining by pretence where alleged land owner can’t produce a  Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) and other necessary approvals and search report from state where the properties is situated he or she by law has no right of claim, she should face her civil suit. E/210/2018/ as we are optimistic that land grabbers in Enugu State will never escape justice.

“The facts are there, the Inspector General knows the truth, Nigerian Police is no more those Mrs Uju can pocket. Hence Igbo Youth warns trouble shooter hiding behind Mrs. Ohanenye to immediately vacate the said factory or face the wrath of Igbo Youths who are gainfully employed in the factory from Monday January 11, 2021 as safeguarding the factory is now Igbo Youth responsibility until justice, peace is restored.”
